Position Summary 

The Automations & IT Support Specialist is responsible for designing, building, maintaining, and improving internal automations and connected systems across the company. This role supports CRM workflows in GoHighLevel, develops business process automations using Microsoft tools such as Power Automate, and leverages platforms such as Make, Zapier, n8n, AI agents, and webhooks to create scalable, sustainable solutions. 

This person must be able to understand business processes, identify inefficiencies, translate requirements into technical workflows, document solutions clearly, and implement reliable automations that integrate Microsoft 365 and other core business systems. The role also provides internal IT and platform support for operational tools and cross-functional systems used across departments, including Hubstaff, ClickUp, Microsoft tools, and other internal platforms where needed. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Build, maintain, and optimize automations across company departments using Power Automate, Make, Zapier, n8n, GoHighLevel, and/or related automation tools. 
  • Design workflow solutions that connect Microsoft 365 and other business platforms into scalable, sustainable processes. 
  • Create and manage GoHighLevel automations, including contact segmentation, contact lists, workflow logic, follow-up sequences, triggers, and CRM support processes. 
  • Understand business processes and independently convert operational needs into documented automation workflows and integrated system solutions. 
  • Develop and maintain webhook-based and API-driven automations to improve data exchange, reduce manual work, and support internal operations. 
  • Leverage AI agents and AI-assisted workflows to improve automation efficiency, execution speed, and process consistency. 
  • Explore and implement API integrations to enhance internal platform functionality and cross-system communication. 
  • Support internal IT platforms and operational tools across the company, including Microsoft 365, Hubstaff, ClickUp, Zoom, and related internal systems as required. 
  • Troubleshoot automation issues, system errors, data flow failures, and platform configuration problems across CRM and internal tools. 
  • Test, document, monitor, and continuously improve workflows to ensure reliability, usability, and long-term maintainability. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations and other internal stakeholders to gather requirements, validate solutions, and communicate status, blockers, and results clearly. 
  • Handle internal requests related to automation improvements, platform support, systems access, and process optimization across departments. 

 

 

Requirements (Must-Have) 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems, or a related field preferred. 
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in automation, CRM support, systems integration, and internal IT support. 
  • Proven experience creating automations in GoHighLevel and supporting CRM-related workflows and configurations. 
  • Strong experience with Microsoft 365 and Power Automate. 
  • Experience with Automation Platforms like Make, Zapier, n8n, webhook configurations, and API integrations. 
  • Ability to analyze business processes and translate them into scalable, documented workflows. 
  • Experience supporting internal business platforms and troubleshooting technical issues in a remote environment. 
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and operate with minimal oversight. 
  • Strong communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills. 
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting mindset 
  • Proactivity and ownership in executing requirements independently 
  • Ability to follow up actively on tasks and outcomes 
  • Time management and prioritization skills 
  • Clear cross-team collaboration and status communication 

 

 

Technical Skills (Required) 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems, or a related field preferred. 
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in automation, CRM support, systems integration, and internal IT support.
