Role Overview
We are looking for a VMware Cloud Foundation Engineer to design, deploy, and support modern VMware infrastructure environments. This role focuses on building stable, scalable VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) platforms and enabling hybrid-cloud capabilities using technologies such as vSphere, vSAN, NSX-T, HCX, and SRM.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with VCF, particularly VCF 5 environments and migrations to newer VCF versions, and be comfortable working across compute, storage, and network virtualization layers.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), including management and workload domains.
- Lead or support VCF upgrades and migrations (VCF 5 to newer versions preferred).
- Implement, configure, and optimize vSphere, vSAN, NSX-T, HCX, and SRM.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across compute, storage, and network virtualization layers.
- Conduct capacity planning, health checks, and risk assessments to ensure environment stability and scalability.
- Support disaster recovery architecture, implementation, and testing.
- Produce clear technical documentation and operational handoff materials.
- Provide knowledge transfer and technical guidance to internal teams and customers.

Required Qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience in enterprise IT, consulting, or service provider environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation, particularly VCF 5 environments.
- Proven experience with VCF deployments, lifecycle management, or upgrades/migrations.
- Deep understanding of virtualization, networking, and storage architectures.
- Hands-on experience with at least two of the following technologies:
- vSAN
- NSX-T
- HCX
- SRM
- Experience with hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) platforms such as VxRail.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex VMware environments.
- Ability to support off-hours work and occasional travel if required.
- Advanced English communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to participate in technical discussions with US stakeholders.
