SQL Server DBA at BairesDev

As a SQL Server DBA, you will ensure the optimal performance and reliability of production database environments. You will take ownership of database health and scalability, ensuring that data infrastructure remains secure and highly available for critical business operations.

What You'll Do

• Administer and maintain production database environments.
• Perform advanced query tuning and optimization to enhance system performance and efficiency.
• Design and execute robust backup, replication, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Manage database security protocols and infrastructure to safeguard sensitive data at scale.
• Monitor system health proactively to identify and resolve potential bottlenecks before they impact users.

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in Database Administration, with a focus on SQL Server or similar RDBMS.
• Proven expertise in operating and tuning production databases including SQL Server, Oracle, or Postgres.
• Advanced proficiency in T-SQL/PLSQL and performance tuning for complex queries.
• Hands-on experience managing database backups, replication, and HA/DR strategies.
• Deep understanding of database security and infrastructure at scale.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
