Job Summary
Overall Purpose:
The job holder is accountable for the end-to-end design, governance, and evolution of the Bank’s integration landscape, ensuring the seamless, secure, and efficient exchange of data across all systems, channels, and external partners.  This role manages the definition and adoption of integration architecture, standards, and patterns across APIs, event-driven services, middleware platforms (including ESB), and managed file transfer solutions (e.g., MOVEit), ensuring consistency, reuse, and scalability across the enterprise.  Acting as a technical authority and point of reference, the job holder ensures that all integration solutions align with enterprise architecture principles, security and data protection requirements, and regulatory obligations, while supporting the Bank’s digital transformation and platform engineering strategy.  The Senior Integration Engineer is responsible for driving technical governance and delivery assurance, overseeing complex integration initiatives, and ensuring that solutions are designed for resilience, observability, and operational stability in a critical banking environment.  In addition, the role provides leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, promotes adoption of modern integration practices (API-first, event-driven, and governed file transfer), and drives continuous improvement in tooling, automation, and DevOps capabilities to enhance delivery speed and quality.
