Job Description

Position Overview

Six Red Marbles is a learning experience design and educational content company with deep roots in K–12, higher education, workforce and continuing education, and trade publishing. We build courses, programs, assessments, and learning experiences for institutions and publishers who need high-quality educational content at scale.

We’re looking for a Content & Campaign Strategy Manager to own the full arc of our marketing content from the strategic logic of a campaign to the finished, publish-ready asset. This role thinks in campaigns, connects pieces into coherent programs across time, and owns the production pipeline for video and podcast from start to finish. Presently, video and podcast focus is ~60% higher education, ~20% K–12, ~20% other verticals.

If you’re the kind of marketer who gets frustrated when a blog post exists in isolation from an email sequence, a follow-up nurture, or a clear audience goal —and you want to fix that— this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

Campaign Content Ownership

  • Translate the Marketing Director’s strategic direction into campaign plans that hold together structurally, thematically, and sequentially across channels and timeframes.
  • Own the execution of full content campaigns across all SRM verticals: higher education, K–12, trade publishing, corporate training, and workforce, ensuring that individual assets connect into coherent, time-bound programs with clear thematic logic.
  • Write and produce publish-ready content across formats: blog posts, thought leadership articles, email sequences, white papers, landing page copy, case studies, and one-pagers. The standard is deploy-ready, not draft-ready.
  • Design and run A/B tests across email, content, and campaign elements; track results and apply findings to improve future performance.
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts, learning experience design & editorial staff, and business development stakeholders to extract insights and translate them into market-relevant content across verticals.
  • Manage webinar content from topic development and host sourcing through promotional copy, follow-up sequences, and post-event reporting.
  • Work in close coordination with the Marketing Associate, who owns the underlying platforms and channels (email platform, website, Salesforce, social). You own the content and campaign logic; they own the systems and distribution mechanics.

Video & Podcast Ownership

  • Own the production pipeline for SRM’s video content including client testimonials, sizzle reels, and marketing-use video assets from concept through coordination, vendor or platform management, and publishing handoff.
  • Lead all logistics and content operations for SRM’s podcast (DigitalEDU Dialogues): 1X/month episode planning, guest identification and outreach, briefing, production coordination, and promotional follow-through.
  • Ensure video and podcast output reflects SRM’s brand voice and integrates meaningfully into broader campaign programs.
  • Escalate production decisions or creative sticking points to the Marketing Director; otherwise, these lanes run independently.

Performance & Optimization

  • Track campaign and content performance across channels; translate data into actionable recommendations and apply them to future planning.
  • Identify opportunities to repurpose and extend the life of high-performing content across formats and audiences.
  • Recommend new content approaches, channels, and campaign experiments based on market signals and performance trends.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of marketing experience or relevant equivalent with demonstrated ownership of content and campaign programs, not just individual pieces.
  • A campaign-level mindset: you think about how a blog post connects to an email, connects to a webinar, connects to a goal and you build accordingly.
  • Excellent writing across formats and audiences. You can shift register between a K–12 curriculum director, a higher ed provost, and a trade publishing executive without losing clarity or voice.
  • Experience managing video and/or podcast production pipelines: you don’t have to be a videographer or audio engineer, but you know how to own the process from end to end.
  • Comfort with A/B testing: you know how to design a test, read the result, and apply it.
  • Strong project ownership: you close loops, meet deadlines, and don’t need daily check-ins to move work forward.
  • Education or ed-tech market experience is a genuine plus, but we’ll take intellectual curiosity and fast vertical learning over narrow familiarity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organizational instincts in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.
  • Having some experience with email marketing, content calendars, webinar platforms, and campaign analytics is a plus.
