Role Description The Human Resources Assistant is a full-time, remote role that supports daily HR operations and ensures a positive employee experience across the organization. This role assists with maintaining employee records and HRIS data, coordinating onboarding and offboarding processes, and supporting benefits administration activities. The Human Resources Assistant helps organize training sessions, tracks participation, and communicates schedules and materials to employees. Additional responsibilities include responding to routine HR inquiries, preparing HR documentation and reports, and collaborating with HR leadership on process improvements and compliance-related tasks.
Qualifications
- Foundational skills in Human Resources (HR), including understanding of core HR functions and employee lifecycle processes.
- Experience or familiarity with HR Management tasks such as recordkeeping, policy support, and coordination of HR activities.
- Ability to work with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), including accurate data entry, updates, and basic reporting.
- Knowledge of Benefits Administration processes, such as enrollment support, employee inquiries, and documentation handling.
- Exposure to Training coordination, including scheduling, communication with participants, and tracking completion.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks remotely.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a professional, confidential approach to sensitive information.
- Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, video conferencing tools).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a distributed team environment.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
