Macmillan Davies is working with a global, remote-first software and AI consultancy to hire a Head of HR, reporting to their Chief Technology Officer and the CPO.
The role:
- Head of HR, 12-month FTC, reporting to the CPO but embedded day-to-day with the Chief Engineering Officer
- Individual contributor seat, one direct report, dotted line to two more
- Owns employee relations, organisational change and workforce planning for the delivery business, not just advisory input
- Operates across a globally distributed team, multiple jurisdictions, with around 400 employees

What we're looking for:
- Senior HRBP or Head of People experience inside a services business, ideally 300–800 headcount (tech, consulting or engineering environments all count)
- Confident in leading complex ER and change conversations without a large team behind you
- Commercially literate, understands margin, utilisation and what that means for people's decisions
- Comfortable balancing local employment nuance with global consistency
- Tech understanding is a bonus, not a requirement
- Available on short notice
