The Connectivity and Collaboration Service (CCS) is seeking an experienced Network Engineer (IT Specialist - Network) to design, implement, and maintain the secure, resilient network infrastructure that supports critical healthcare and business operations serving millions of Veterans nationwide.

You'll work on enterprise infrastructure supporting one of the largest integrated healthcare systems in the United States, helping ensure secure, reliable connectivity for more than 1,300 VA healthcare facilities and the Veterans, caregivers, and employees who depend on them.
What You'll Do
- Configure, maintain, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure.
- Support Cisco routing and switching environments, including Cisco NX-OS.
- Configure and manage High Availability solutions within enterprise data center environments.
- Utilize SolarWinds/Orion to monitor network performance and ensure operational reliability.
- Support network operating system upgrades, infrastructure modernization, and performance optimization.
- Implement network security best practices and troubleshoot complex network issues.
- Develop technical documentation, standards, and implementation procedures.
