Senior Network Engineer / Solution Architect – Cisco SDA & Infoblox DDI

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer / Solution Architect with deep expertise in Cisco Software-Defined Access (SDA) for both wired and wireless environments, covering greenfield and brownfield deployments. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and automated enterprise network solutions, with strong integration across Cisco SDA, Cisco ISE, Cisco DNA Center, and Infoblox DDI.

Key Responsibilities

Cisco SDA Architecture & Deployment

- Design, deploy, and operate Cisco Software-Defined Access (SDA) architectures for wired and

wireless networks

- Lead greenfield and brownfield SDA implementations, including migration from traditional OTT

networks to SDA fabric

- Design and manage multi-site SDA deployments, including:

 • Fabric domains

 • Control-plane nodes

 • Border nodes

 • Edge nodes

Identity, Segmentation & Security

- Integrate Cisco SDA with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) to enable:

 • Dynamic segmentation

 • Policy-based access control

 • Secure wired and wireless access

- Design and enforce end-to-end segmentation policies across campus environments

- Support Zero Trust and intent-based networking initiatives

Cisco DNA Center & Automation

- Advanced use of Cisco DNA Center, including:

 • Assurance and health monitoring

 • AI/ML analytics and insights

 • Intent-based networking policies

 • Template-based configuration and automation

- Develop and support network automation using:

 • REST APIs

 • Ansible

 • Python scripting

Infoblox DDI Architecture

- Design and maintain Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) architecture aligned with business

and security standards

- Create high-level and low-level design documents for DDI solutions

- Provide hands-on administration of Infoblox NIOS, including:

 • Grid architecture

 • DNS, DHCP, and IPAM services

- Implement and manage DNS security features, such as:

 • DNSSEC

 • RPZ

 • Threat Protection

Network Fundamentals & Support

- Apply strong knowledge of:

 • TCP/IP networking

 • VLANs

 • IPv4/IPv6 addressing and subnetting

- Provide Level 3 support for complex network design, performance, and security issues

- Act as a technical escalation point and architecture authority

Required Skills & Experience

- Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco SDA (wired & wireless)

- Strong expertise in Cisco ISE, policy design, and dynamic segmentation

- Proven experience migrating OTT networks to SDA fabric

- Advanced proficiency with Cisco DNA Center

- Strong automation skills using REST APIs, Ansible, and Python

- Solid hands-on experience with Infoblox DDI and NIOS

- Deep understanding of enterprise campus network architectures

Preferred Certifications

- CCNP Enterprise

- CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure or Wireless
