About The Role

As a DevOps Engineer within our Product Staff team, you will play a critical role in transforming our cutting-edge technology into a seamless, reliable product. Your primary focus will be on developing and maintaining deployment workflows, scaling production environments, and supporting internal and customer-facing workloads. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing complex GPU infrastructure, scaling storage solutions to handle trillions of user interaction records, and ensuring the robustness and scalability of our platform. You will collaborate closely with sales, customer success, and technical teams to facilitate smooth deployment, onboarding, and troubleshooting processes.

This position offers the opportunity to influence our product development, contribute to support mechanisms, and directly engage with Fortune-500 clients. While ideally based in our New York or Toronto offices, we are open to fully remote arrangements for the right candidate. The role is suitable for self-driven, technically skilled individuals passionate about building resilient AI infrastructure and eager to shape the future of generative AI technology.

Qualifications

• Significant experience (more than 6-8 years) in DevOps, DevSecOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or technical support roles
• Proficiency in Kubernetes, containerization, and related ecosystems (Helm, ArgoCD, EKS, AKS, GKE)
• Strong networking skills, including DNS, proxies, and Web Application Firewalls (WAFs)
• Experience with authentication and identity federation protocols such as OIDC and SSO

• Expertise in managing PostgreSQL databases
• Solid understanding of security practices, incident detection and containment, Linux hardening, and network security
• Experience with on-premises and hybrid infrastructure architectures, including Linux networking and DevSecOps practices
• Ability to troubleshoot high-availability services under pressure and support live customer interactions
• Optional: experience with Rust programming language and software development
• Excellent communication skills, with a bias toward asynchronous collaboration

Responsibilities

• Design and implement systematic Kubernetes workflows for deploying our products across various infrastructures, including client-side and internal cloud platforms
• Assist with product deployment, pre-sales support, demos, and production rollout both on-premises and in the cloud
• Act as a first-line support for customer escalations, handling bugs, security issues, and large-scale events such as load testing and workshops
• Lead deployment support efforts, including participating in customer onboarding calls, troubleshooting, and managing ticket triaging and on-call processes
• Collaborate with sales and technical teams to align product development with customer needs and technical advancements
• Maintain and optimize long-running, high-uptime infrastructure, including bare-metal servers and Linux networking
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of deployment automation, security protocols, and infrastructure resilience
• Provide clear reporting and documentation on deployment activities, issues, and resolutions to a distributed team
