Job Description
Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with a software technology organization, is seeking a skilled Senior Azure DevOps Engineer. This role is responsible for designing and optimizing Azure cloud infrastructure, building scalable CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring secure, high-performing environments across the development lifecycle.
Must be USC or Green Card holder, this is a direct hire role and 100% REMOTE. Do not apply if your background is only consisting of AWS, we need a full on Azure SME on this one.
Job Duties
- Design, manage, and optimize Azure environments across production, staging, testing, and development
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, YAML, and automation tools
- Architect and support cloud-native applications using containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Configure and manage Azure resources including virtual networks, virtual machines, and database services
- Implement infrastructure-as-code and automation strategies for deployment and provisioning
- Monitor system performance, alerts, and logs to ensure reliability and uptime
- Migrate on-premise workloads to Azure cloud environments with secure connectivity
- Enforce security best practices including IAM, access controls, and compliance alignment

Skills & Experience
All are Required:
- Expertise in Microsoft Azure services including VMs, Web Apps, VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers, and Azure SQL
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps and Git-based CI/CD pipelines using YAML
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible or similar
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience managing Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), Key Vaults, and monitoring tools
- Knowledge of cloud security practices including IAM and resource access management
- Experience supporting full software development lifecycle using Agile or Waterfall methodologies
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

- Experience with cloud migration from on-premise environments (VMware, Hyper-V) to Azure

- Experience with SQL Server and cloud database migration strategies
- Exposure to cost optimization and performance tuning within Azure environments
