Job Description


Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with a software technology organization, is seeking a skilled Senior Azure DevOps Engineer. This role is responsible for designing and optimizing Azure cloud infrastructure, building scalable CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring secure, high-performing environments across the development lifecycle.


Must be USC or Green Card holder, this is a direct hire role and 100% REMOTE. Do not apply if your background is only consisting of AWS, we need a full on Azure SME on this one.


Job Duties

  • Design, manage, and optimize Azure environments across production, staging, testing, and development
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, YAML, and automation tools
  • Architect and support cloud-native applications using containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Configure and manage Azure resources including virtual networks, virtual machines, and database services
  • Implement infrastructure-as-code and automation strategies for deployment and provisioning
  • Monitor system performance, alerts, and logs to ensure reliability and uptime
  • Migrate on-premise workloads to Azure cloud environments with secure connectivity
  • Enforce security best practices including IAM, access controls, and compliance alignment


Skills & Experience

All are Required:

  • Expertise in Microsoft Azure services including VMs, Web Apps, VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers, and Azure SQL
  • Strong experience with Azure DevOps and Git-based CI/CD pipelines using YAML
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible or similar
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience managing Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), Key Vaults, and monitoring tools
  • Knowledge of cloud security practices including IAM and resource access management
  • Experience supporting full software development lifecycle using Agile or Waterfall methodologies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Desired:

  • Experience with cloud migration from on-premise environments (VMware, Hyper-V) to Azure
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC2, ISO, or HIPAA
  • Experience implementing blue-green or similar deployment strategies
  • Knowledge of Linux and Windows server administration in cloud environments
  • Experience with SQL Server and cloud database migration strategies
  • Exposure to cost optimization and performance tuning within Azure environments
