Job Description


We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join a fast-paced, U.S.-based IT services environment supporting multiple client infrastructures. This role is ideal for a highly experienced MSP professional who thrives on solving complex infrastructure and security challenges while improving systems through automation and preventive maintenance.

You will play a key role in strengthening infrastructure reliability, responding to security incidents, and driving long-term technical improvements across diverse client environments.

Duties / Tasks to perform

  • Respond to security alerts (Huntress, Blumira), including investigation, containment, remediation, and documentation of results
  • Perform preventive maintenance: monitoring reviews, patch coordination, system cleanup, and environment standardization
  • Automate repeatable tasks using PowerShell (onboarding/offboarding, reporting, recurring fixes)
  • Manage ticket workflows and client communication using ConnectWise Manage
  • Perform remote monitoring and remediation through Datto RMM
  • Create and maintain clear documentation and procedures for repeatable solutions
  • Lead Disaster Recovery planning and testing across environments
  • Execute emergency VM and server recovery when required
  • Troubleshoot and administer Windows Server environments (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP)
  • Manage Microsoft 365 environments and Azure identity/security settings
  • Support networking infrastructure including firewalls, VPNs, switching, and Wi-Fi (Meraki preferred; UniFi/Netgear helpful)
  • Participate in a limited on-call rotation for critical server outages only

Requirements

  • 5+ years of strong MSP experience supporting multiple client environments
  • Advanced Windows Server administration and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong networking knowledge (firewalls, VPNs, switching, Wi-Fi)
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and Azure fundamentals (identity, email, security settings)
  • Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and preventive work
  • Experience with virtualization platforms (Hyper-V; high availability experience is a plus)
  • Experience responding to security alerts and incidents (Huntress, Blumira; ThreatLocker preferred)
  • Experience with ConnectWise Manage and Datto RMM
  • Proven experience handling disaster recovery and server/network failure scenarios
  • Excellent documentation habits and professional English communication skills
  • Ability to work US Eastern Time hours

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am -5pm (GMT -5-00) Eastern Time (US & Canada), Bogota, Lima
