Job Description
Full Stack Developer role which focuses on building and maintaining API-driven applications using TypeScript and Node.js, and developing
responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces using React with TypeScript. You’ll work closely with your team to ship features that support
software solutions in the clinical trial lifecycle, including Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems and related tools
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and deliver new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code for both backend (Node.js with TypeScript) and frontend (React with TypeScript)
- Participate in code reviews by providing and receiving constructive feedback through pull requests.
- Engage in team meetings and product demos with the Product Owner.
- Communicate effectively in an asynchronous, remote-first environment.
- Focus on individual contribution and teamwork — no leadership or mentoring responsibilities required.
Required:
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript for both frontend and backend development.
- Experience building APIs and backend services using Node.js.
- Solid understanding of React for building modern, responsive UIs.
- Familiarity with SQL Server and writing efficient queries.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests using Jest or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with AWS services, including ECS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, S3, SQS, EventBridge.
- Experience using AWS CDK for infrastructure as code.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with Cypress or other frontend testing frameworks.
- Exposure to functional programming concepts.
- Experience with Docker.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in full stack development, with a strong focus on independently delivering features in a remote team
- Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with distributed teams.
- Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent
- A strong GitHub portfolio is a plus.
