Cloud Engineer

Location: Fully Remote

Working Schedule: Sunday to Thursday (9 am - 6 pm GMT+3)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced OCI Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in designing, deploying, and automating Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in cloud architecture, networking, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) development using Terraform and Terragrunt.

You will be responsible for building secure, scalable, and automated OCI landing zones, supporting services, and infrastructure that enable enterprise-grade workloads.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement OCI landing zones following best practices for governance, security, and scalability.
• Build and manage OCI networking components including DRG, VCNs, subnets, routing, and hybrid connectivity.
• Deploy and maintain OCI IaaS and PaaS services (VM, OKE, Data/DB systems, Analytics, etc.).
• Configure and manage supporting services such as DNS, Streaming, Vault, and Certificates.
• Implement and monitor logging, alerting, and backup solutions using OCI native tools.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Terraform and Terragrunt, following modular and reusable code design.
• Collaborate in a multi-developer enterprise environment with version control and CI/CD integration.
• Ensure cloud infrastructure adheres to security, compliance, and performance standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure Engineering or DevOps.
• Proven hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Strong understanding of landing zone concepts, VCN/DRG networking, and routing topologies.
• Experience with IaaS and PaaS components including Compute, OKE, Database, and Analytics services.
• Familiarity with supporting OCI services: DNS, Streaming, Vault, Certificates.
• Proficient in Terraform and Terragrunt for infrastructure automation.
• Experience with module-based Terraform development and enterprise IaC best practices.
• Working knowledge of logging, monitoring, and backup in OCI.
• Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and collaboration skills.
