As a QA Engineer at iGate, youll work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to ensure everything we ship meets the highest standards. Youll help us catch bugs before users do — and continuously improve our testing processes.

As a QA Engineer at iGate, youll work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to ensure everything we ship meets the highest standards. Youll help us catch bugs before users do — and continuously improve our testing processes.
What Youll Do
- Develop and execute detailed manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Write and maintain automated test scripts(preferably using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar).
- Perform regression, smoke, and functional testing.
- Log bugs with clear documentation and work closely with developers to ensure resolution.
- Collaborate with product teams to understand features and user flows.
- Test across different devices, browsers, and platforms for cross-compatibility.
- Contribute to improving our QA processes and best practices.
- Participate in sprint planning and give feedback on feature testability.
- 3+ years of experience in QA/testing roles (manual and/or automated).
- Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience testing web and mobile applications.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools(e.g., Jira, Trello, Click Up) and test case management.
- Basic knowledge of scripting or writing test automation (e.g., with Selenium, Cypress, or Postman for API testing).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience with performance testingorsecurity testing.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test integration tools (like GitHub Actions or Jenkins).
- ISTQB certification or similar.
- Basic understanding of APIs and tools like Postman or Swagger.
- Previous experience in remote teams.
