Role: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 Basic

Location: Fully Remote (UK)

Wedo has exclusively partnered with a pioneering InsurTech start-up revolutionizing insurance claims with their innovative white-label SaaS platform. They're reshaping the way insurance claims are managed and now seek a passionate and talented SDET to drive product quality through advanced test automation.

The Role

As a Full Stack SDET, you will lead the design and implementation of the automation testing strategy from the ground up. You'll ensure stability, reliability, and high performance of their modern microservices-based platform, automating tests across UI, API, and Microservices, and integrating seamlessly with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

Essential Experience:

• Expert-level proficiency in C# for automation
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and SpecFlow
• Proven capability in automating UI, API, and Microservices testing
• Skilled in setting up and managing tests within CI/CD pipelines
• Strong experience conducting integration testing
• Familiarity working with Docker and Kubernetes
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps

Hiring Process

1. Technical Interview (1 hour) – Q&A session with the Lead Developer
2. Technical Assessment (1.5 hours) – Remote task involving writing SpecFlow integration tests using C#
