Job Description
Senior IAM Engineer (CyberArk)
Fully Remote (UK based)
£74,000 - £79,000 + 20% Bonus + Comprehensive Family Medical Cover
You'll own high-impact CyberArk engineering work across a genuinely complex hybrid estate, with the backing to modernise identity services at global scale. From delivering complex privileged access solutions and integrations to supporting wider IAM initiatives including tenant migrations, service deployments and application integrations, you'll work on projects that have a real impact across the organisation. You'll work closely with technical and business stakeholders to understand requirements, recommend the right technical approach, and then take ownership of designing, building and delivering the solution yourself.
It's a role for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, not simply handing work over to someone else. The environment is built around trust and autonomy rather than micromanagement, with a genuine focus on work-life balance and flexibility as long as delivery commitments are met.
What you'll be getting stuck into
- Engineering and delivering complex CyberArk solutions across a large-scale hybrid on-premises and cloud estate.
- Owning the end-to-end technical delivery of CyberArk platform upgrades, privileged access enhancements and integrations, from requirements gathering and solution design through to implementation and deployment.
- Working directly with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements, provide technical expertise and recommend secure, scalable solutions.
- Building, configuring and optimising CyberArk capabilities to improve security, resilience and operational efficiency.
- Troubleshooting complex technical issues, carrying out deep root cause analysis and implementing robust, long-term fixes.
- Investigating CyberArk security events and operational issues, ensuring risks are identified, remediated and documented appropriately.
- Designing, testing, documenting and deploying secure IAM solutions that meet technical, security and compliance requirements.
- Contributing to wider IAM engineering initiatives, including identity services, tenant migrations and application integrations as the function continues to evolve.
- Working closely with IAM Engineers and Analysts to solve complex technical challenges while sharing knowledge and engineering best practice.
- Producing high-quality technical documentation and maintaining audit-ready standards across engineering changes.
- Participating in the team's on-call rota, providing expert support for major incidents affecting critical identity services.

What we're looking for
- Around seven years' plus hands-on experience engineering and supporting CyberArk solutions, with strong expertise across Cloud and components including CPM, PSM, SIA, WPM, SWS and EPM.
- Deep technical expertise engineering and delivering CyberArk solutions within highly complex hybrid on-premises and cloud environments.
- Understanding of wider services integrated with IAM tooling, including Active Directory, Azure and AWS.
- The ability to develop scripts and automate CyberArk-related activities, integrations and troubleshooting.
- A solid understanding of privileged access management (PAM) principles, security best practice and industry standards.
- The confidence to work directly with business and technical stakeholders, gathering requirements, advising on technical solutions and delivering them end-to-end.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with modern identity platforms such as Okta would be an advantage.
- CyberArk, cloud or wider security certifications would be welcomed but aren't essential.
