SYSTEM ENGINEER – APAC Region 🌏

SYSTEM ENGINEER
We are hiring a System Engineer for a leading Cloud & Cybersecurity company. This is a unique opportunity to work in an international environment, managing IT infrastructure, networking, and security operations across the APAC region.
This role requires Italian citizenship and a strong availability to relocate to Asia for approximately 10 months per year, with frequent travel to China (at least once a month).
📌 What You’ll Do:
- Act as a Technical Account Manager and Service Manager for APAC clients.
- Be the key Italian interface for clients, collaborating with the Global IT Team in Italy and the USA.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level IT support, managing Windows Server environments and Active Directory.
- Oversee networking (firewalls, switches) and IT infrastructure deployment.
- Participate in building a 24x7 global IT support team.
- Manage local and remote IT technicians, ensuring smooth operations in the region.
- Support clients in their IT technology strategy, identifying and implementing the right solutions.
🎯 Who We’re Looking For:
- 4+ years of experience as a System Engineer / Technical Project Manager.
- Strong expertise in Windows Server environments and Active Directory.
- Good knowledge of networking (firewalls, switches, infrastructure deployment).
- Experience in customer-facing roles, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
- Italian citizenship is mandatory.
- Native in Italian. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Availability to relocate to Asia (10 months/year) and travel to China once a month.
