NYSE-listed AgEagle Aerial Systems is seeking a talented, experienced (5-10 years), and motivated Sr. Android Engineerto join the software team at our senseFly located in Cheseaux-sur-Lausanne, Switzerland. The candidate should be able to work autonomously but able to collaborate with the other R&D team members.***Note that this is a 100% office-based position. Neither visa sponsorship nor relocation assistance are available for this role. ***Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain C++ applications
- Design and implement Android applications using Kotlin
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to create seamless user experiences
- Optimize application performance and ensure high-quality code
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth functionality
- Propose and implement UX improvements to enhance user satisfaction
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies
- Comfortable and experienced user facing
Requirements:
- Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in C++ development
- Strong knowledge of Android development using Kotlin
- Familiarity with Android SDK, APIs, and frameworks
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Efficiency in proposing UX improvements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other programming languages (e.g., Java, Python)
- Knowledge of mobile app architecture and design patterns
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
