Pay Range: $52.00 – $59.00 per hour (based on experience and internal equity)

Position Summary

We are seeking an IT QA Analyst – Connected Vehicle & Mobile Applications to support the testing and validation of connected digital products, mobile applications, IoT services, and vehicle-integrated technologies within a large automotive environment. This role will be responsible for ensuring high-quality software releases by executing comprehensive testing across web, mobile, backend APIs, and connected vehicle platforms while collaborating with cross-functional engineering, product, and development teams.

The ideal candidate combines strong software testing expertise with experience in mobile applications, connected vehicle technologies, IoT platforms, CI/CD environments, and Agile software development methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute functional, system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing across connected vehicle platforms, mobile applications, and digital products

• Test iOS and Android mobile applications supporting connected vehicle and IoT services

• Validate software functionality across multiple concurrent development projects and production releases

• Perform system analysis and data validation to ensure application quality and reliability

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and defect documentation

• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects using Jira and Confluence

• Perform API testing using Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools

• Execute SQL queries and database validation to verify application data and business logic

• Support automated testing initiatives and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines

• Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives

• Support production validation, release testing, and post-deployment verification activities

• Communicate testing progress, risks, and quality metrics to project stakeholders

• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, automation, and testing methodologies

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• 5+ years of software testing and quality assurance experience

• 5+ years of system analysis and data validation experience

• Experience testing iOS and Android mobile applications

• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum and Waterfall software development methodologies

• Experience working within CI/CD environments

• Experience using Jira, Confluence, or other Atlassian tools

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

• Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills

• Experience collaborating across cross-functional technical teams

• Stable work history within large enterprise organizations

Desired Skills

• Experience supporting automotive software development or connected vehicle platforms

• Experience testing telematics, embedded software, IoT devices, or consumer electronics

• Experience performing SQL or Microsoft SQL Server database validation

• Experience with API testing using Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools

• Experience supporting enterprise CI/CD pipelines and automated testing

• Experience working with globally distributed engineering teams

• Strong understanding of automotive software quality standards

• 3+ years of Big 4 consulting experience preferred
