Location: Fully Remote (UK)

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum

Role Overview:

As a Product Manager, this role requires deep expertise in accounting and ERP software, with a strong focus on market research, product strategy, and execution. The position involves understanding customer needs, defining product roadmaps, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop impactful solutions. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background and a strong understanding of accounting and ERP software, along with a passion for delivering products that drive business efficiency.

Product Manager (Accounting SaaS – Office of the CFO) - Key Responsibilities:

• Gain a deep understanding of customer experience and identify gaps in accounting and ERP software solutions.
• Conduct thorough market research to uncover customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape specific to accounting and ERP software.
• Analyse market data and feedback to identify key problems and opportunities within the accounting and ERP software market.
• Develop product pricing and positioning strategies tailored to accounting and ERP software.
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for accounting and ERP features.
• Scope and prioritise activities based on business and customer impact.
• Work closely with engineering teams to deliver new products and features with quick time-to-market.
• Drive product launches, including working with public relations teams and executives, specifically for accounting and ERP software products.
• Evaluate promotional plans to ensure consistency with the product line strategy for accounting and ERP software.
• Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding of accounting and ERP software solutions.
• Represent the company by visiting customers and prospects to solicit feedback on accounting and ERP software products and services.

Product Manager (Accounting SaaS – Office of the CFO) - Skills and Experience:

• Proven work experience in product management or as an associate product manager, preferably in the accounting/ERP software industry.
• Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
• Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies, especially accounting and ERP systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to be hands-on in execution.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience conducting market research, including surveys, focus groups, and data analysis, with a focus on accounting and ERP software.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong project management skills.
• Passion for building accounting and ERP software products that customers love.
