System Engineer

Job Title: System Engineer

Location: Remote (Australia)

We are seeking a talented System Engineer to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity within Australia. As an organization, we value innovation, collaboration, and the use of cutting-edge technologies to drive forward the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, configure, and optimize our system infrastructure with a strong focus on open-source tools.
• Work with a variety of open-source technologies to implement scalable and efficient systems.
• Design and maintain reliable network infrastructure to support both internal and external services.
• Ensure system uptime and troubleshoot network issues, specifically within an ISP environment.
• Provide expertise and hands-on work with RadioDNS technologies and integration into our services.
• Collaborate with a remote team to continuously improve system performance and reliability.

Key Requirements:

• Extensive experience working with open-source tools in a production environment.
• Solid experience in networking, with hands-on ISP background and knowledge.
• In-depth understanding of RadioDNS and how it integrates into broadcasting systems.
• Familiarity with Ubuntu and the Ubuntu ecosystem as your primary working environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously in a remote setup.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a geographically dispersed team.

Desired Skills (Optional):

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Scripting languages like Python, Bash, or others.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
