About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Cloud Engineer to join our growing technology team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates and early-career professionals who are passionate about cloud computing and eager to build a career in cloud infrastructure and DevOps.

In this role, you will support the deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of cloud environments while working alongside experienced engineers. You'll gain hands-on experience with leading cloud platforms and modern infrastructure technologies through training, mentorship, and real-world projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in deploying, configuring, and maintaining cloud infrastructure.
  • Monitor cloud environments to ensure performance, availability, and reliability.
  • Support cloud migration, infrastructure, and automation projects.
  • Assist with user access management and cloud security best practices.
  • Troubleshoot cloud-related issues and escalate complex incidents when required.
  • Help maintain cloud documentation, system configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity activities.
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams on cloud initiatives.
  • Learn and apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation practices.
  • Stay up to date with emerging cloud technologies and industry best practices.
Requirements
  • Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and services.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and firewalls.
  • Exposure to scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Git, or Terraform is an advantage but not required.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn in a collaborative environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (or currently completing) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, or a related field.
  • Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), or Google Associate Cloud Engineer are an advantage but not required.
  • Internship, academic projects, or personal cloud projects are highly valued.
  • Recent graduates and entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
