We are looking for a Database Administrator (with ClickHouse expertise) to join our team in Cyprus:

✅Requirements

✔️ Strong background in database administration.

✔️ Experience with ClickHouse specifically.

✔️ Excellent problem-solving skills

✔️ Ability to think algorithmically

✔️ Database design and implementation

✔️ Data backup and recovery

✔️ Database security

✔️ Database performance tuning

✔️ Query optimization

✔️ SQL programming

✔️ Linux administration

Nice to have:

✔️ Experience with MongoDB

✅Duties and opportunities:

As a ClickHouse DBA, you will be responsible for:

✔️ Designing and implementing database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user's specialized role.

✔️ Defining users and enabling data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and in a timely manner.

✔️ Minimizing database downtime and managing parameters to provide fast query responses.

✔️ Providing proactive and reactive data management support and training to users.

✔️ Determining, enforcing, and documenting database policies, procedures, and standards.

✔️ Performing tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity.

✔️ Monitoring database performance, implementing changes, and applying new patches and versions when required.
