We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer who will ensure the reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence of the organization’s core network infrastructure and infrastructure services. The role focuses on enterprise and backbone networking, routing services, WAN connectivity, AAA services, and network infrastructure automation to support business-critical operations.
Job Responsibilities
Core Network Infrastructure:
- Design, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise and data center network infrastructure.
- Manage core routers, switches, and security platforms.
- Ensure network availability, redundancy, and fault tolerance across critical services.
- Participate in network architecture reviews and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
- Design, implement, and support BGP routing environments.
- Manage WAN connectivity and carrier interconnections.
- Configure and maintain routing policies, route filtering, and traffic engineering.
- Administer and optimize MPLS-based network services.
- Perform network capacity planning and routing optimization.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Juniper routing platforms running Junos OS.
- Support core routing infrastructure and backbone connectivity.
- Perform software upgrades, platform migrations, and lifecycle management.
- Implement routing policies and operational standards on Juniper platforms.
- Design, deploy, and administer TACACS+ authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) services.
- Implement and maintain TACACS+ infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD methodologies.
- Develop automated deployment, configuration management, validation, and change-control processes for AAA services through CI/CD pipelines.
- Integrate TACACS+ with network devices, identity providers, and centralized access management systems.
- Manage role-based administrative access controls for network infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot authentication and authorization issues across enterprise networking environments.
- Maintain compliance, audit requirements, and configuration consistency across the TACACS+ infrastructure.
- Collaborate with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to automate TACACS+ service lifecycle management, testing, deployment, and configuration validation.
- Configure and maintain firewall platforms and security policies.
- Support perimeter security and secure network access controls.
- Participate in security incident investigations involving network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with security teams to improve network protection mechanisms.

- Monitor network performance, availability, and service health.
- Troubleshoot complex routing, WAN, and infrastructure-related incidents.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive improvements.
- Participate in on-call support and incident response activities.
- Automate operational tasks using scripting and infrastructure management tools.
- Maintain accurate network diagrams, inventory records, and technical documentation.
- Manage infrastructure documentation through NetBox and API integrations.
- Develop operational standards, templates, and engineering best practices.
Routing & Switching:
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VLANs, STP, QoS.
- Strong hands-on experience with BGP, OSPF, and ISIS.
- Experience with WAN architecture and carrier connectivity.
- Experience designing and operating MPLS environments.
- Experience with VXLAN architecture in DC.
- Advanced knowledge of routing policies, route filtering, and traffic engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Junos OS.
- Experience administering Juniper Core Routers.
- Experience with Junos SRX security platforms.
- Experience with Cisco Nexus platforms (NX-OS).
- Experience with Cisco XR routers (NCS5500 Series).
- Hands-on experience with firewalls (Junos SRX, OPNsense, etc.).
