Algorithmic Trader – Europe Remote

The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Algorithmic Trader to develop and optimise trading strategies, analyse market microstructures, and contribute to the improvement of trading systems. This role combines hands-on trading expertise with deep quantitative research, offering a chance to directly influence the success of the business.
This position can be office based in Latvia or a remote position in Europe where you’d be required to spend a 2 week period in the offices every 2 months (fully expensed).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine arbitrage trading strategies and hedge logic.
- Conduct post-trade analysis to enhance trading outcomes.
- Optimize asset management systems and resource allocation across exchanges.
- Engage in long-term research and strategic system improvements.
- Analyse historical data to identify inefficiencies and optimize signal parameters.
The successful Algorithmic Trader will have/be:
- Proven experience with algorithmic trading systems.
- Expertise in Python; familiarity with Rust is a bonus.
- Strong skills in quantitative analysis and working with large datasets.
- Knowledge of market-making, risk management, hedging, and arbitrage (crypto experience is a plus).
- Ability to read and understand code.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid setup with on-site presence in Riga, Latvia (relocation support available).
