Chief Product Officer

BettingJobs is working with a well established iGaming group seeking to expand their team with a Chief Product Officer.

This role has the option to be remote from within Europe with regular travel to Malta and Estonia.

We are seeking an exceptional Chief Product Officer to take full ownership of product strategy across the group. This is a hands-on, build-and-lead mandate for someone who has done this before at scale in real-money environments — and who is energized by the unique technical and product challenges of crypto-based gaming.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end product vision across sports betting and crypto casino products.
• Define and execute the product roadmap, balancing player experience, commercial priorities, and licensing frameworks across MGA, Curaçao, and other jurisdictions.

• Modernize and harden core back-office systems (CRM, risk, payments, reporting) to support rapid growth and multi-entity operations.
• Architect and oversee crypto payment rails, wallet infrastructure, and blockchain integrations, ensuring security and compliance in a fast-evolving landscape.
• Drive a culture of innovation — evaluating and adopting new technologies (AI-driven personalization, provably-fair systems, real-time risk engines) to maintain competitive edge.
• Partner with the CEO and ExCo on M&A technical due diligence, build-vs-buy decisions, and new vertical launches (including new real-money product lines).
• Build a high-performance, accountable product culture, with clear metrics, delivery cadence, and talent development.

Requirements

• Proven, exceptional track record leading product within online gaming, betting and crypto businesses.

• Direct experience operating in real-money, high-transaction-volume environments.
• Demonstrated success scaling product organizations through periods of rapid growth.
• Experience with crypto/blockchain infrastructure (wallets, payment processing, on-chain integrations) is a strong advantage.
• Innovative, dynamic, and genuinely “new-age” in approach — someone who challenges convention and brings fresh thinking to a traditional industry.
• A builder and transformer, not a maintainer: comfortable taking a business from where it is today to where it needs to be.
• Strong commercial instincts; able to balance technical excellence with speed, pragmatism, and business outcomes.
• Credible, hands-on leader capable of earning trust across technical and non-technical stakeholders, including banking and payment partners.
• Willingness to relocate to Malta or Tallinn, or operate remotely for candidates with the requisite seniority and a strong track record of leading distributed teams.
• Comfortable working across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions simultaneously.
• Fluent English required; additional languages an advantage.
