Salary: MYR 15,000 – MYR 18,000

Client Location: Kuala Lumpur.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our client in the Banking/FinTech industry. This role is ideal for professionals with expertise in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and security best practices. This is an urgent opening, with preference given to candidates who can join immediately or within 1 month.

Relocation Support: Not available.

• Location Requirement: Only candidates currently residing in Malaysia are eligible to apply as the role is onsite.

Key Responsibilities

Keeping the Lights On:

• Implement and maintain monitoring and observability solutions to proactively identify and address issues.
• Respond to incidents and troubleshoot production issues promptly.

Infrastructure Management:

• Manage cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform and Packer.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable and resilient infrastructure.

Coaching and Mentoring:

• Mentor junior team members and developers on DevOps best practices.
• Share knowledge and promote a culture of continuous learning.

Security:

• Implement security best practices across the entire stack.
• Collaborate with the security team to address security concerns.

Developer Experience:

• Enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Provide tools and documentation to streamline development and deployment workflows.

Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related IT industry experience.

Experience:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar environment.
• Proven experience managing cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
• Strong understanding of security best practices in web applications.
• Familiarity with internetworking concepts and protocols.
• Hands-on Linux administration experience.
