This unique IoT R&D company designs and develops a range of Navigation, Security, and Simulation solutions for the Automotive industry, and their Cybersecurity team is currently building a new platform to offer advanced services for the Automotive Connectivity industry.
For this, they are searching for a Reverse Engineer to take a vital role in deconstructing large embedded software code bases, identifying vulnerabilities, running penetration tests, and offering advice to automotive OEMs along with innovative research.
You Will Be...
- Reverse engineering software and hardware components of Connected Vehicles;
- Performing security research and penetration tests for OEM clients;
- Using disassembly tools such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, Radare2;
- identifying vulnerabilities in firmware;
- Attending key industry events to present work and findings.
Key Skillset...
- Proven experience in embedded software reverse engineering using disassembly tools;
- Understanding of Linux Kernel architecture, bonus for RTOS;
- Knowledge of encryption, signing techniques, public and private key algorithmsl;
- Scripting skills using Python for automation;
- Experience in the Automotive industry would be a bonus!
