- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows using tools like Airflow and dbt Cloud.
- Design and implement data models in BigQuery to ensure efficient querying and storage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into actionable data solutions.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions using Metabase, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Optimize data infrastructure for high performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to ensure reliability and accuracy.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and analytics.
- Experience: 4-5 years of hands-on experience as a Data/Analytics Engineer.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Technical Skills: Proven expertise with:
- dbt Cloud
- Airflow (or equivalent workflow orchestration tools)
- BigQuery (or similar data warehouses)
- Metabase/Tableau (or similar data visualization tools)
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python).
- Data Modeling: Strong understanding of data modeling techniques and principles.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to work effectively in a remote environment.
