We are seeking a skilled and hands-on IT Team Lead to join our growing team supporting a major American client. This is not just a managerial role—you will actively contribute as an engineer while leading a small team of talented professionals. Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Lead by example by contributing to hands-on engineering tasks while guiding your team to success.
- Team Management: Mentor and support your team to ensure efficient collaboration and delivery of high-quality results.
- Operations Oversight: Oversee 24x7 production support, ensuring effective environment monitoring, production control, and system health checks.
- Change Management: Actively participate in deployment processes, attend Change Control Board (CCB) meetings, and manage dependencies and documentation.
- Incident Management: Take the lead during production-related incidents, acting as the Incident Commander for major issues and providing technical guidance for resolution.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive technical enhancements by improving operational processes, automating tasks, and refining monitoring frameworks.
- Performance Reporting: Track and report on team and system performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary technical and managerial point of contact for escalations, service issues, and performance discussions with the client.
What We’re Looking For:
- A hands-on engineer with leadership experience, preferably in IT operations or SRE roles.
- Strong technical expertise in AWS administration, Azure administration, Linux, and Windows systems.
- Proficiency in tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana, Skybot, GoAnywhere, and ServiceNow.
- Proven ability to solve complex technical problems while managing team dynamics.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills for working with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Experience with SRE practices, incident management, and driving operational improvements.
