Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a skilled Front-End Developer with expertise in WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) using VB.NET and C#. This role involves enhancing the user interface and improving user experience (UI/UX) for core applications, particularly for multi-user environments with high operator turnover. The role also includes managing and optimizing data handling processes, ensuring seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers and back-end developers to design and implement UI/UX improvements for WPF applications.
• Enhance the application’s overall look, feel, and functionality to support usability in multi-operator environments.
• Ensure the application is intuitive, accessible, and optimized for rapid learning and ease of use.
• Develop mockups, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate design ideas and workflows.
• Apply modern design practices to create user-friendly interfaces.
• Debug and resolve UI-related issues within WPF applications.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in front-end development, with a focus on WPF applications using VB.NET and C#.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficiency in XAML for developing user interfaces in WPF.
• Experience designing and improving UI/UX for applications in multi-user environments.
• Strong ability to develop high-quality, user-centric interfaces from concept to implementation.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Subversion, Git).
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
