About the role:
We are looking for a hands-on Solana Blockchain Engineer to join our client’s RnD team remotely. The engineer will play a key role in building tools to extract and process Solana blockchain transactions from various data sources. Your responsibilities will include labeling and augmenting transactions with metadata and storing them in a proprietary data format.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop tools to extract Solana blockchain transactions from multiple data sources.
- Label and augment transactions with metadata for further analysis.
- Store transactions in a custom data format for efficient querying and analysis.
- Collaborate closely with the research team to implement innovative blockchain solutions.
What you bring along:
- Rust Proficiency: Experience with async (Tokio), streams, gRPC, SQL (Postgres, DuckDB), DataFusion, S3, web crawling, actor model, and tracing.
- Solana Expertise: Deep knowledge of Solana internals (Blocks, Transactions, Signatures, PoH), smart contracts, SPL Tokens, Metaplex, Anchor, web RPC protocol, and decentralized exchange (DEX) architecture and flows.
- CI/CD Knowledge: Familiar with GitHub Actions, Docker, and Linux CLI for deployment automation.
- Expertise in ETL processes and Big Data: Kafka, JSON, ProtoBuf, Borsh, Parquet, MapReduce, App Monitoring, and ETL monitoring, Delta Lake or Apache Iceberg.
