Manager, Public Relations

Shaw Search Partners is proud to partner with globally renowned and publicly traded financial technology services company seeking a Public Relations Manager.

The Public Relations Manager will help to develop programs that support the growth of various companies within the company's broad portfolio.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement public relations programs • Identify and develop story opportunities • Initiate and maintain media relationships • Write press releases, articles and pitch story ideas • Plan and manage press tours, conferences and events • Take the lead in multiple concurrent projects • Act as a media advocate for C-suite and senior leadership.

Qualifications

3-5 years of public relations or related experience • Strong experience in writing, creative storytelling, pitching, and media relations • Experience with financial services or technology industries preferred • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations or a related field • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite

This is a hybrid role based in Detroit. Relocation assistance may be offered.
