DevOps Engineer - $100k-$120k plus package - Fully Remote (UK) - Blockchain

We are working with a leading blockchain firm that provides high-quality, expertly managed infrastructure. Along with top-tier validator and staking services, they offer seamless deployment and monitoring of your Web3 API directly on your servers, enabling true decentralisation for Web3 applications. They are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis as they scale up.

In this role, you will design, build, and maintain the infrastructure that powers their blockchain and Web3 solutions. You’ll be responsible for developing and optimising CI/CD pipelines, monitoring system performance, and ensuring their services meet the highest standards of uptime and security. While experience with blockchain technology is a plus, a strong foundation in cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices is key.

This fully remote role can be worked from anywhere in the UK!

Responsibilities:

· Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to support a smooth and reliable development workflow

· Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure environments

· Automate deployment, scaling, and management of infrastructure to ensure efficient operation

· Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to improve system performance and security

· Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to maintain high uptime and rapid incident response

· Contribute to infrastructure as code (IaC) initiatives using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar

· Ensure secure and compliant management of sensitive data and infrastructure

· Continuously evaluate and implement new tools and practices to enhance infrastructure reliability and scalability

Qualifications:

· 5+ years experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role

· Proficiency with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and a strong understanding of cloud architecture

· Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and automation frameworks

· Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible

· Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

· Solid understanding of Linux-based systems and shell scripting

· Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

· Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Bonus Skills:

· Experience with blockchain infrastructure, validator services, or decentralised applications (dApps)

· Knowledge of Web3 technologies and protocols

· Security best practices in the context of cloud and blockchain environments
