Job Description
We are looking for a skilled VMware Infrastructure Engineer to oversee and optimize our virtual infrastructure, ensuring robust performance, security, and reliability across multiple data centers. This role requires a proactive individual experienced in VMware and virtualization technologies to support our dynamic IT environment.

Responsibilities:
- Administer and support VMware environments, numerus platforms, with a focus on configuration, setup, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Manage multi-network VMware virtual data centers, providing high availability and reliability.
- Perform routine systems operations, incident management, and problem diagnosis, addressing escalated tickets and ensuring efficient issue resolution.
- Oversee Change and Configuration Management processes for the virtual infrastructure.
- Execute data backup and recovery operations, with a focus on maintaining data integrity and system resilience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT infrastructure with business requirements, assisting in planning and scaling as needed.
- Document technical processes, configurations, and troubleshooting activities for future reference.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years in VMware infrastructure management and systems administration.
- VMware VCP and VCAP (Data Center or Desktop Certification preferred).
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Proficiency in VMware ESX, ESXi, and vSphere (experience with versions 6.7 and above is preferred).
- Knowledge of SAN storage solutions (HPE, EMC) and backup tools (e.g., Veeam).
- Strong skills in network administration, LAN/WAN configuration, and virtualized network management.
- Experience in using troubleshooting tools and diagnostic procedures for VMware environments.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and effective team collaboration.
It would be preferred if you:
- Familiarity with VMware Horizon and VMware SRM.
- Experience with storage and server management, workflow planning, and configuration of high-availability systems.
