Job Description
About Qualiphy
Qualiphy is a fast-growing healthtech startup redefining compliance and workflow automation for medical providers and aesthetic practices. With seamless integrations and a customer-first approach, we’re helping clinics stay compliant while operating efficiently.
The Senior IT Engineer is the technical owner of Qualiphy’s internal IT environment, ensuring every employee — whether on Windows or Mac — has reliable, secure, and well-managed systems to do their best work. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role in a fully remote-first company, so you’ll be comfortable supporting hardware, software, and systems entirely remotely and setting up the tooling and processes that make distributed work seamless.
As a regulated healthtech business, security and compliance are at the heart of what we do. You’ll own identity and access management through Okta, manage our SaaS and enterprise integrations, and help mature our IT posture to meet HIPAA and related requirements.
You’ll partner closely with Engineering, DevOps, Security, and People Operations to keep employees productive, systems secure, and the company audit-ready. Reporting directly to the CTO, you’ll have a direct line to technical leadership, and as our IT function grows, this role has clear room to evolve in scope and leadership.
• Own end-to-end IT support for a fully remote workforce across both Windows and Mac environments — provisioning, troubleshooting, and maintaining hardware, software, and systems remotely.
• Administer identity and access management through Okta: SSO, MFA, lifecycle automation, group policies, and least-privilege access across the SaaS stack.
• Manage and integrate enterprise SaaS applications, including Salesforce, ensuring clean provisioning, integrations, and data hygiene across systems.
• Build and maintain streamlined employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring fast setup and complete, secure deprovisioning.

• Maintain and improve IT security and compliance posture in a regulated (HIPAA) environment — access controls, audit readiness, asset inventory, and policy enforcement.
• Partner with DevOps and Engineering on cloud and infrastructure access (AWS), internal tooling, and automation of repetitive IT tasks.
• Document systems, runbooks, and IT policies, and serve as the go-to escalation point for complex technical issues.
• Monitor, evaluate, and recommend tools and vendors to improve reliability, security, and the employee experience.
• Track and manage IT assets, licenses, and spend across the organization.
• 5+ years of professional IT engineering / IT systems experience, including time in a senior or lead capacity.
• Hands-on expertise supporting and managing both Windows and Mac environments.
• Strong experience administering Okta (or comparable IdP) — SSO, MFA, lifecycle management, and access governance.
• Proven track record supporting hardware, software, and systems remotely for a distributed workforce.
• Experience working in a regulated environment (HIPAA strongly preferred; SOC 2, PCI, or similar also valued).

• Must be able to work Pacific (PT) business hours, with flexibility to support issues outside those hours when needed.
• Experience administering and integrating Salesforce and other enterprise SaaS applications is highly desirable.
• AWS and DevOps experience (cloud access management, scripting/automation, CI/CD familiarity) is a significant plus.
• Strong scripting/automation skills to eliminate manual, repetitive work.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to support and collaborate with non-technical colleagues across a remote organization.
• Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
You’ll join a nimble, collaborative team in a high-growth environment where your work directly shapes how the entire company operates. You’ll have meaningful ownership of our IT function, the autonomy to make systems and security decisions, and the opportunity to build and mature IT as the organization scales.
• Huge ownership — your work directly impacts every employee’s productivity, security, and experience.
• Fast-paced, transparent, and collaborative startup culture.
• Remote-first and flexible work environment focused on outcomes, not hours.
