Areti have partnered with a Financial Services business who are embarking on a Large Cloud Migration.
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
- Monitor and optimize cloud performance, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery.
- Automate cloud operations using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
- Implement and manage security best practices, including identity and access management, network security, and data protection.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues, providing support to development and operations teams.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure services, features, and best practices, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Document cloud architecture, processes, and procedures for internal use and compliance purposes.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Functions.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or similar languages.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure Pipelines.
- Solid knowledge of networking concepts, including VPN, VNet, and load balancing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert are highly desirable.
