Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer to safeguard our client organization's information systems by designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive security solutions. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in identifying potential threats, protecting sensitive data, and ensuring our systems remain compliant with industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in cyber security, information security, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
• Proficiency in security technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection, encryption).
• In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, regulations, and compliance (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
• Experience with security architecture, network protocols, and cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong background in Web Application Firewall (WAF) implementation.
• Strong background in Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Testing.
• Hands-on penetration testing experience with SAP applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with scripting or automation tools (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) solutions.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and tools for secure software development.
• Penetration Testing experience for SAP applications in an Azure cloud environment.

This is a fully remote opportunity with CET (GMT +1) work hours and attractive compensation fully paid in GBP.
