Senior Frontend Developer - Relocation to Portugal

❗️❗️ This position is based in Lisbon and requires on-site attendance. If you are not currently residing in Portugal, you will need to relocate. We will provide support throughout the entire relocation process.

We're looking for an experienced Frontend Developer to join our development team in Lisbon, Portugal! You will play a key role in designing and developing a modern web platform, focusing on performance, scalability, and technical excellence.

✅ Responsibilities

✔️Design and develop a web platform that meets web-performance requirements;

✔️Collaborate closely with Backend and DevOps teams;

✔️Maintain and enhance the technical excellence of the team by implementing best practices and engineering standards;

✔️Optimize components from a performance and quality perspective.

✅ Requirements:

✔️ 5+ years of commercial experience in web development;

✔️ 3+ years of commercial experience specializing in frontend development;

✔️ Strong knowledge and experience in modern SPA frameworks (Angular, React, Vue, etc.) and their SSR ecosystems;

✔️ Excellent proficiency in JavaScript (ES5/ES6) and TypeScript;

✔️ Familiarity with testing frameworks and test runner frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Karma);

✔️ Practical experience in setting up styling standards, guidelines, and best practices;

✔️ Experience consuming REST APIs and GraphQL APIs;

✔️ Strong understanding of SOLID and GRASP principles, client-side architecture, and design patterns;

✔️ Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance considerations;

✔️ Exceptional learning skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently;

✔️ Extensive experience with tools like Git, npm, ViteJS, Webpack, and Linters;

✔️ At least Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (spoken and written).

✅ Nice to Have:

✔️Experience with NodeJS and its ecosystem;

✔️Familiarity with Docker, NGINX, MySQL/MongoDB, and GraphQL;

✔️A strong understanding of web UX and a product-focused mindset.
