Lead Product Manager

Product Lead Role | Non-Profit Org | Fully Remote (UK Only) | £60,000 – 70,000

We have an amazing opportunity for Product Lead / Lead Product Manager, who is looking to use their powers to make a positive social impact and drive ‘tech-for-good’ initiatives.

Futureheads has partnered with an inspirational non-profit organisation with a rich history of providing support to individuals, local communities and public health services across the UK.

The charity has just commenced a major transformation programme, with the goal of creating new digital products to further facilitate their incredible mission. Subsequently, they’ve engage Futureheads to help them recruit a dynamic Product Lead – somebody with the skills and experience to enable their tech-driven future.

Reporting directly into their COO, the Product Lead will play a critical role within their newly established Product and UX team. It’s a position with a broad senior remit. Responsibilities will range from establishing product management processes from scratch, defining their product strategy, creating the roadmap, and ultimately spearheading the 0-1 delivery of both their B2C and B2B offering.

Whilst the initial phase of this work will be delivered in partnership with an external agency, as a Product Lead, you’ll gradually bring everything in house and have the chance to recruit and line manage another Product Manager to support your work.

As you’ll be operating within a business that’s never previously built digital products, it’s crucial that you’re able to implement ‘best practice’ for product management, make data-backed decisions and have the communication skills to manage stakeholders at all levels.

Requirements:

✅ 7+ years Product Management experience, including lead-level responsibilities.

✅ Managed products across the full 0-1 life cycle – creating a product strategy and roadmap, as well as owning the delivery.

✅ Experience with both B2B and B2C products, spanning web and mobile.

✅ Strong technical aptitude, balanced against genuine user-centricity.

✅ Previous Line management experience is strongly desired.

✅ Agile advocate.

✅ Comfortable leveraging quant and qual data to make decision.

✅ Brilliant stakeholder management skills.

✅ A great storyteller and communicator who can demystify complex technical matters when speaking to non-technical people.

✅ Comfortable operating in an environment that lacks product maturity.
