Senior QA Tester

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with our product management team to understand functional requirements
• Partner with our engineering team to increase unit testing and verify product quality
  
  

throughout the development cycle

• Write test strategies and test plans
• Background and interest in writing custom testing frameworks
• Perform exploratory testing to uncover new bugs
• Script automated tests across the software stack
• Create documentation to track issues and solutions and maintain test runs
• Report on product quality and performance metrics to the product development team
• Guide and share knowledge on the latest testing frameworks and tools with teams.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a software quality assurance role, with experience testing Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Experience using a scripting language like Python.
• Experience in AEC and CAD software such as Revit or Navisworks
• Demonstrated experience running performance profiling on real-time applications
• Experience performing manual testing and automation testing frameworks for web/cloud-based solutions
• Experience with varied test frameworks across different languages
• Enthusiasm and interest for extended or mixed reality (XR, VR, AR)
• Knowledge of current trends in software testing, and can easily discuss TDD and BDD
• Demonstrated experience designing test process around bug life cycle.
• Interested in solving testing challenges in graphics and multi-user behaviors.
• Data-driven and able to use quantitative evidence to support your solutions.
• Collaboration and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ideas around testing games and other applications without traditional user interfaces.
• Experience with load and stress testing on a network.
• Experience with performance testing and evaluation.
• Background and interest in writing custom testing frameworks.
