Job Description


Title: Penetration Tester

Location: Ontario (100% remote)

Duration: 6 Months

Salary Range: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications


Introduction:

We are seeking skilled and experienced Penetration Testers to join our team. The role involves performing comprehensive security assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and providing actionable recommendations to enhance the security posture of our clients.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a technologist diploma in computer science.
  • Over 36 months of experience in penetration testing and vulnerability assessment within the last 120 months.
  • Proven expertise in using penetration testing tools such as Burp Suite, Wireshark, Metasploit, Nessus, Nmap, and Scapy.
  • Certifications in penetration testing (e.g., OSCP, GPEN, CEH) and security (e.g., CISSP, CSSLP) as referenced in Appendix A.
  • Need Security Clearance


Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience with assembly code and reverse engineering.
  • Knowledge of network security tests, memory corruption, buffer overflow, shellcode, and fuzzing.
  • Additional certifications in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, PMI-ACP).


Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough penetration tests on various systems and networks to identify security vulnerabilities.
  • Develop detailed reports and presentations on findings, including risk levels and remediation strategies.
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement security improvements.
