My client is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with Splunk certification to join their dynamic team on a 6-month contract. This role is fully remote and offers an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile project for a fast-paced, forward-thinking company.
As the DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in streamlining infrastructure, enhancing system reliability, and ensuring smooth CI/CD pipelines. Your expertise in Splunk will be vital for monitoring, analyzing, and securing our systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments.
- Maintain and monitor cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Integrate, configure, and optimize Splunk for log analysis, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure system performance, scalability, and security.
- Automate and optimize processes for deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent).
- Implement security best practices and perform system monitoring using Splunk.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system and application issues in production environments.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Splunk Certified (Core or higher certifications preferred).
- Proven experience in a DevOps Engineer role, ideally within cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud infrastructure.
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or equivalent.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
