Vidico is looking to expand its roster of freelance designers – if you are a Graphic Designer / UI Designer who's got great creative skills inside Figma or Adobe Illustrator, and is passionate about creating best-in-class design for commercial videos, we'd love to hear from you.

You will be teaming up with with a talented group of animators, designers and producers, working with some of the best brands around.

This role will be 100% remote and we are accepting applications from any global location.

What will I work on?

Typical tasks for a Vidico designer are as follows:

• Develop visually compelling designs that align with brand guidelines and storyboards, that effectively communicate key messaging to target audiences.
• Understand project goals and deliverables, and provide design solutions that meet project requirements.
• Create moodboards and mockups to effectively communicate design concepts and gather feedback from stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in design, and incorporate them into design work as appropriate.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks, and meet project deadlines.
• Ensure all design work is high-quality, error-free, and meets accessibility and usability standards.
• Layer and prepare illustrator and figma files, ready for our animators to animate.
• Bonus: whilst we are mainly looking for designers with a keen eye for graphic design principles, character illustration/design skills are a nice-to-have.
  
  

What will I bring?

• 1-3+ years experience in design and multimedia content role.
• A deep understanding of design principles – you know what looks good, and you know how to make it.
• Experience and fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (mainly Adobe Illustrator) and Figma.
• A genuine interest and appreciation for storytelling, as this is at the heart of what Vidico brings to the commercial content space.
• Ability to manage and prioritise tasks.
• Highly organised and process driven.
• Attention to detail and consistency in deliverables.
