Job Description

Kureos are proud to partner with another innovator within the Energy Sector. Our client are on a mission to accelerate investment in the clean energy transition and have built a suite of software solutions that can plan, track, & optimize clean energy projects.


Role Requirements:


  • Comprehensive Experience: with AWS, IaC, Git, & DevOps in serverless, high-availability environments.
  • IaC Tools: Proficient in CloudFormation, Terraform, CDK, and more.
  • Collaborative Communicator: Strong teamwork and independent work capabilities.
  • Self-Driven: Highly organized and motivated.


Detailed Technical Skills Needed:


  • AWS: Knowledge of AWS multi-account architectures and services like Lambda, Dynamo, Cognito, ECS, S3, GuardDuty, Inspector, Control Tower, and Config. Familiarity with alternative products and OSS technologies is a plus.
  • Security & Compliance: Understanding of ISO 27001, SOC2, and other security controls.
  • SaaS Experience: Experience within either a Start-Up or a Scale-Up organisation.
  • Tech Savvy: Experience with CloudFlare, operational monitoring tools, and various data technologies (Dynamo, RDS, Mongo, SQL, NoSQL).


Job Responsibilities:


  • Team Contribution: Collaborate with software engineers to enhance IaC and AWS configurations, improving team efficiency.
  • Ownership: Manage infrastructure, operations, and compliance to support product and feature delivery.
  • Security & Compliance: Review and uplift AWS account structures, security design, platform monitoring, and compliance.
  • Process Improvement: Assist with security processes including vendor management, access reviews, security reviews, threat modeling, and DR testing.
  • UK Representative: Be our first engineering team member in the UK, working closely with colleagues in APAC and the UK.
