Job Description
As a Game Artist UI/UX at Good Games, you will:
- Design intuitive user flows (UX) that harmonize with the overall game aesthetic and functionality
- Create and implement overal art direction of all casual puzzle games, which focus highly on user interface (UI) screens and artistic elements.
- Clearly communicate UX visions and design ideas to team members to ensure smooth integration into the game.
- Actively collaborate to translate designs from concept to in-game reality.
- Leverage additional skills to support various aspects of game development.
- Ability to provide concept art design
Candidate Profile
Creative, highly ambitious, results oriented individual, eager to reach success at all costs in the gaming industry and become a top industry performer.
- 2+ years experience in Mobile games and UI / UX Design
- A passionate advocate for UI/UX design, driven to create exceptional user experiences for mobile gamers.
- Deep enthusiasm for the mobile games industry.
- A proactive and independent worker who takes ownership and pride in their work.
- Very proficient in Photoshop for 2D art
- Mandatory experience with Unity to integrate assets within the project, work hand-in-hand with the developer, and experience in using Unity's animator tool to create UI Transitions and Animations
- Good skills in Illustrator, After Effects, Spine and optional Substance Painter & Designer
- Passionate about casual mobile games and adept at identifying gameplay and mechanics trends
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively within a team
- Excellent organizational, management, and leadership skills
- A strong team player who embraces the collaborative nature of game development
