Ruby on Rails Full Stack Developer

Note: Open to applicants residing in the Philippines who can adhere to Philippine government policies and procedures.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Full-Stack Engineer to join our team. You will be a key contributor to our product and will immediately have a significant role in driving our platform forward in core areas. You will be part of the expansion of our platform, building highly performant APIs, high-throughput processing systems, and responsive interfaces.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Improve and evolve our modern Ruby on Rails-based applications
• Manage and deploy updates using various tools and platforms (GitHub Actions, AWS, Docker)
• Design and evolve the platform to scale to 100,000 transactions per minute
• Collaborate closely with other engineers to implement platform initiatives across teams
• Collaborate with external organizations to design and implement robust and performant integrations
• Employ secure coding practices
• Ability and willingness to learn quickly and work independently

What You'll Need

• 5+ years of experience working with Ruby on Rails
• Experience with unit testing and end-to-end automated testing in a continuous integration environment
• Experience using REST and/or GraphQL-based APIs
• Experience with CSS & HTML
• Experienced using git and git hosting platforms for version control and code review
• AWS experience is a plus but not required to start
• Must adapt to a work schedule with a 6-hour overlap between 8 AM to 5 PM on a (UTC-7) timezone.
