Job Overview:

seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior WordPress Website Developer with a proven track record in both development and design to join our team. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of hands-on experience working with WordPress and a strong design aptitude, including the ability to create PSDs, banners and mockups. You will play a critical role in developing and maintaining our WordPress websites while ensuring a seamless integration of design elements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing a Mock/PSD from scratch in Different designing tools
• Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes, plugins, and extensions, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Transform design concepts into fully functional and responsive WordPress websites.
• Design high-quality PSDs and mockups for new projects, considering user experience, brand identity, and aesthetics.
• Optimise website performance, ensuring fast loading times and smooth user interactions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress functionality, design, and compatibility.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in WordPress development and design.
• Conduct regular website maintenance, updates, and security enhancements.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and designers as needed.
• Ensure all work is well-documented and maintain proper version control.

We are looking for a Website Designer & Developer specifically with these requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Design, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with WordPress development.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Proven experience in creating custom WordPress themes, plugins, and templates.
• Portfolio showcasing your design skills, including PSDs and mockups.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, or Figma.
• Solid understanding of responsive design principles and mobile optimisation.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and project management tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug technical issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Ability to manage different hostings with Email configuration and Migrations of Domain.

Additional Preferred Skills:

• Experience with e-commerce platforms and integrations (e.g., WooCommerce).
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with UI/UX principles and user-centred design.
• Understanding of accessibility standards and guidelines.
