Our client is a B2B Generative AI and Data tech startup for the Digital Health industry. They provide health and fitness data interpretation-as-a-service on top of user-generated data from Wearables and IoT devices.
Responsibilities

- Develop in-house LLM experimentation infrastructure;
- Develop fully HIPAA-compliant agents, utilizing OS LLMs;
- Optimize retrieval speed and quality from private databases (NOSQL, SQL, and vector)
- Experience training, serving, and monitoring NLP models;
- 5+ years of experience in ML Engineering / Data Science;
- Experience with PyTorch or other ML libraries;
- Experience working with client/server systems, distributed systems, and cloud providers;
- Good knowledge of relational, NOSQL and vector databases;
- Experience rolling LLM-based applications to production;
- Ability to move fast in line with Spike's culture
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker;
- Experience developing scalable APIs;
- Experience in building ETLs;
- Expertise in developing and releasing algorithms for ML applications in production;
- Familiarity with cloud deployment and scaling;
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
